Here it is, the grand-daddy of the greeting card business (and we personally wish someone would take the senile old bastard out and shoot it to put it out of its misery).
Despite the advertising, Hallmark does not offer "the very best." It offers retreads of the same cards it has always sold (and in some cases, the very same cards it sold in 1932!). Hallmark had an across-the-board price increase this year, and it's planning another one for next year.
We do not recommend this line, or its supermarket alternative, Ambassador Cards (which are all the cards it couldn't sell under its flagship name).
Pricey, unfeeling, boring, and not worth the effort—that's Hallmark. Avoid like the plague.
